Application of INERGY Software in Self-Consumed Electricity Management at Quang Tri Hydropower Plant

To enhance efficiency and accuracy in operational management, in November 2022, AMI Vietnam Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company collaborated with Quang Tri Hydropower Company (QT HPC) to develop and implement self-consumed electricity management software for the Quang Tri Hydropower Plant.

Quang Tri Hydropower Company was established in March 2007 by Decision No. 188/QD-EVN-HĐQT on February 26, 2007, issued by the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Electricity Corporation.

QT HPC (under EVNGENCO 2 – Vietnam Electricity Power Generation Corporation 2) is responsible for the operation of the Quang Tri Hydropower Project, which aims to regulate water for irrigation, supply drinking water, reduce flooding in the lowlands, and provide electricity to the National Grid for socio-economic development.

Software Interface

The project for the application of INERGY software in self-consumed electricity management at the Quang Tri Hydropower Plant was implemented in two phases:

• Phase 1 (November 2022): AMITECH installed and integrated INERGY software to manage self-consumed electricity at the Quang Tri Hydropower Plant.

• Phase 2 (December 2023): AMITECH installed automatic metering devices for other auxiliary systems through the self-consumed electricity monitoring software at Quang Tri Hydropower Plant.

Digitalization of the entire seft-consumed electricity system

Since the application of INERGY software in self-consumed electricity management, the software has enabled operational staff to manage more easily and quickly, saving time and allowing more stable decision-making in the operation of self-consumed electricity. Furthermore, the software ensures safe data storage, reduces the need for physical storage space, and enhances information security.

Moreover, operational staff can access the system from anywhere with an internet connection, optimizing management and monitoring tasks, especially in situations requiring immediate changes or inspections.
